My Soul, Imparted

A snapshot of my being, only as a part of the whole which can truly be experienced in the flesh alone.

Intriguing. Hospitable. Expressive. Unreadable. Passionate for Humanity. Familiarly Alien. Weirdness Incarnate. An Orderly Chaos. These are each fibers used to describe myself that only form the complete tapestry once woven together.

Origins

Prototyped in Erie Colorado, refined at Western Colorado University with a BS in Physics emphasized in Pre-Engineering melded alongside a BA in Art. Learning and creation, intertwined as my lifelong chase towards the refinement to and beyond idealized perfection.

Accolades

My educational accolades begin with being a recipient of the Linda M Sweitzer Memorial Art Scholarship, Ed R Westwater Foundation Physics Scholarship, and Paul M Rady Engineering Makerspace Scholarship. I have also been promoted with juried show selection as pictured on this page. I also have a magnitude of 9 years of experience with the international team creative problem solving competition Odyssey of the Mind with 3 top 10 world championship placements and 2 Ranatra Fusca awards. I have also personally been involved with the competitive community for the X-Wing Miniatures Game for the past 9 years having a top 24 and top 16 world championship placement and the defending mountain states champion at the Salt Lake City grand championship.

Perceptions

My refined craft can be experienced in a similar abstract through the work page. In the contemporary world we often see a clash in principles old and new, whereas I pinpoint a much desired emphasis on interlaying a coexisting harmony between the practices of new and old. The digital age should not be ushered in to replace the tool or mechanical, but to join the same harmony of the others flowing in a trichotomy. The way I go about design, with mechanical, digital, and industrial practices in mind, is rooted in this foundation.
